Why Choose Hallmark House?
When choosing a memory care facility for your loved one, it’s essential to understand what truly sets us apart. At Hallmark House, we offer more than just a place to live, we provide peace of mind. Unlike some other memory care communities, Hallmark House is licensed through the Office of Inspector General (OIG), ensuring we meet and exceed high standards of care.
What distinguishes us is our hands-on, personalized approach:
Medications are administered directly by a licensed nurse or certified medication technician, not just supervised. This is to ensure safety, accuracy and clinical oversight.
Each resident benefits from a customized care plan, thoughtfully tailored to their unique needs and evolving health requirements.
Memory care is our sole focus, allowing us to provide specialized support in a setting designed exclusively for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Room Layout
Unlike assisted living facilities that include specific areas for memory care residents, the entire Hallmark House facility is custom-designed for Alzheimer’s residents. Our designers toured and studied memory care facilities throughout the country to achieve a design with the perfect balance of safety, comfort, and with an active lifestyle in mind. Of particular importance, the layout of the facility is designed with no “dead spaces”. This helps minimize instances of residents getting lost or not finding their rooms. The design also incorporates open spaces, natural light, and specially selected color schemes to help minimize anxiety. Even the dining room will feature an open kitchen so that the aroma of cooking food helps tease appetites and create a home-like atmosphere.

Compassionate Care by Design
At Hallmark House, we understand how difficult it is to transition a loved one from home when memory care becomes necessary. That’s why we’re committed to providing exceptional care in a safe, comfortable, and socially engaging environment tailored to the needs of those living with memory loss.
Our facility was thoughtfully designed to reduce confusion and promote well-being. After studying memory care communities across the country, our team created a space that blends safety, comfort, and independence with open layouts, natural light, calming colors, and an open-concept kitchen that feels just like home.
Caring for those with memory loss isn’t just what we do, it’s all we do.
